Meet Brooke Bryan...
One of the most passionate 11 year olds you'll ever meet.
For someone so young, Brooke has a very impressive credential list; a celebrity interviewer to some of Australia's best, model, environmentalist and travel blogger, there's no denying Brooke is one remarkable girl!
Brooke has dreams to become an actress, and with her determination and passion, we're sure we'll see her up on the big screen in the next few years...
You have an impressive passion for environmental issues. Tell us a little bit about your website Girl Agenda, and why you created it.
Well, I first created Girl Agenda to help raise awareness about the environment and its problems. We only have one world, so we really should take care of it – even kids can make a difference.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
An actress, definitely an actress. I guess I’ve always wanted to act. I really enjoy being a celebrity interviewer as I love talking to people! I’m already a travel blogger with my family on Let’s go Mum, which is also amazing fun!
What is the hardest thing about being a kid?
Being underestimated. I can do the splits, make my own website, cook some meals like pasta, toast, salad and cheese toasties, and interview celebrities and Olympians! It isn’t fair that kids are considered unable to do stuff sometimes.
You’ve interviewed some of Australia’s most talented, including actor Hugh Sheridan and Olympic swimmers Cate and Bronte Campbell. What was the best part about interviewing such inspiring people?
EVERYTHING!!!! I got to interview Hugh Sheridan! And Cate and Bronte Campbell, wow! They were so nice and friendly and not at all like famous people who are extraordinarily gifted, which they are! I’m still buzzing! I got to stay in Sydney for two nights too and I love any excuse to travel!
If you could wake up tomorrow with any super power, what would it be?
Invisibility! No, um.. shape shifting! No way, underwater breathing! On second thought, totally, flight - I’d love that!
As an avid traveler, where’s your favorite place you’ve visited? And where’s next on your travel agenda?
I loved Surfer's Paradise because it was pretty, it had a beautiful beach, night markets, great food, the lot! I’d like to live there! I think coming up next is either the beach, or Sydney to climb the Harbour Bridge for my twelfth birthday! We always have lots of fun things happening.
If you could eat one food every day, what would it be?
Cheese. That’s literally all I want to eat. If I don’t eat cheese every day, I’ll go nuts!!!!
Describe yourself in three words.
Bookworm, tall, lucky!
