Chantelle O'Neill

Meet Chantelle O'Neill...

She's a Super Mum to almost one year old Giselle, and has had an incredible career working in an impressive amount of industries.

From working as a professional ballerina, to a flight attendant, to an actress to a social worker, Chantelle has certainly given everything a go, and taken some valuable skills and life lessons from each career path.

She would jet off to Paris for a coffee and croissant if given the opportunity, and if she could have one super power, it would be to have an eternal life with her gorgeous family ❤️

If you could bottle one thing up about Giselle, what would it be?

Sometimes when Giselle is playing on her own she will do a little squeal and giggle. It is pure excitement and happiness. I think I would bottle her innocence.

Your favourite fashion label is?

I love supporting Aussie labels. Misha, Camilla and Marc Asilio, Acler, Nobody denim….

Your indulgence is?

I love getting a massage. Taking sometime out by myself.

Who inspires you?

People that don’t give a damn what others think.

Your credential list stretches around the block, and then around another. Having worked as a professional ballerina, flight attendant, model and actress, what is the most important skill each profession has taught you?

Performing was my first love! The performing arts industry has taught me many skills that will stay with me forever. First and foremost, discipline. Self respect, dedication and confidence.

Virgin Australia taught me the power of branding and the importance of good quality customer service.

Following my psych degree I worked as a counselor at Life Line and also a Social Worker. This is where I truly learnt to have empathy and became less judgmental.

If you could tell your younger self something, what would it be?

When I was younger I would go out of my way to do things that made others happy. I use to care what people thought of me. So with that in mind I would tell the younger me, be happy with who you are, because the people that matter, will love you just the way you are.

I’ve never been happier. I am not sure if it is my age, or that I am married to an incredible husband or because I have a gorgeous baby girl? OR maybe I am just truly content, happy and proud of being me.

What is your best beauty tip?

Always take your makeup off before you sleep. Hydrate. Skin serums. Moisturize.

If you could fly anywhere in the world for 24 hours, where would you go and why?

I have always wanted to travel to South Africa and stay in one of those tree houses.

But for 24hrs I am going to say I’d love to travel to Paris with my husband. Jump off the plane straight to brekkie at a little café with a cute cobblestones path, delicious coffee and a warm croissant. Then to the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré Shops, followed by a romantic candle lit dinner on my hotel balcony over looking the Eiffel Tower. See an evening show at the Paris Opera Ballet, then head to a little romantic bar and dance the night away. I’d need to win the lotto!

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

Coffee – each morning.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one super power, what would it be?

I am a fabulous detective so being invisible would come in handy.

Since having Giselle I will request my super power be eternal life so we can be together forever and ever haha clingy mother!!

What’s your idea of a perfect day?

Nothing fancy. The perfect day Giselle sleeps through the night (so I wake up fresh). My husband and I work, have a wonderful afternoon together, head to the park or beach. I’d like to have made it to the gym or have gone for a walk. Have a home cooked meal together. Just the simple things and quality time together.

In three words, describe yourself as a mum.

Obsessed, loving, vigilant

With love,

My Super Nanny.
