Coffee and kids complement each other well. Very, very well.
But sometimes, the whole idea of heading to the local café with bed-hair just doesn't quite cut it.
Don't fret though, by no means are we suggesting you should go coffee-free. Now that is just bonkers.
What you need is a ripper coffee machine, and we've put together our top three favourites for you to choose from.
Delonghi Dolce Gusto Jovia
If you need a black coffee, quick stat, with no gimmicks needed, the Dolce Gusto is the one for you. With no mess made, you can literally run out the door with a smooth, black coffee.
Only $68 at Harvey Norman, talk about value for money.
Saeco Bravista Latte Plus
The Saeco Bravista not only looks good, but more importantly, makes great coffee. It doesn't take up a lot of space on the counter, and is fitted with a milk carafe (fancy word for frother), for milky-coffee lovers.
Pick one up at Dick Smith for $179.
Breville Nespresso Pixie BEC400
For a decent cup of joe, the Pixie is a great addition to any busy household. Easy to clean and low maintenance (would be great if I could say the same about my three year old), the Pixie also comes with an Aeroccino milk frother to make a café-quality latte, cappuccino or flat white.
You can get yourself the Pixie for $249 at JB Hi-Fi.
If only George Clooney came with the manual...
We'll drink to that.
